Tourism continues to grow..

Tourism is one of the main engines for Japan's economic growth in recent years and continues to grow strongly. Japan's Tourism Agency has published a report showing those tourists coming to Japan spent a whopping 4.4 trillion yen last year, up 17.8% on the year previous.

At the end of last century, the tourism relationship between Japan and Australia was one-side but that relationship has shifted dramatically, driven by a transformation of economic fundamentals. Link
